Clackamas Emergency Services Foundation gifted Pacific Northwest Search & Rescue (PNWSAR) $10,000 to go towards a rescue heavy duty truck. This new rescue truck was to replace a 17- year old truck they were using. The new vehicle will allow them to hold essential equipment and have the ability to travel over rough terrain. Part of PNWSAR’s mission is “dedicated to saving lives by providing search and rescue assistance for people at no cost to anyone.” PNWSAR is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They are a non-profit , all volunteer organization who relies solely on donations and grants.
