One day in Oregon City a man was mowing his field with his riding mower. Suddenly a vehicle went off the road and crashed through his fence hitting him on the mower. The Fire Department received the call and responded. The man and driver were transported to the hospital. While the man was recovering, a few firefighters used their own funds to finish mowing the field and rebuild his fence. Their kindness and generosity was very appreciated and a volunteer contribution fund was established so good deeds could be supported by the community through the aid of this volunteer fund. Later this became the “Clackamas Emergency Services Foundation”, a non-profit organization.
Clackamas Emergency Services Foundation has been supporting the community since 1998. We are a 501(c)(3) and our tax ID is 93-1233605.
